The Kuwaiti dinar did crash and rise, but the rise took several years with 
lumps and bumps along the way.  People who make big money on this class of 
investment use short-term futures and are on the right side of most trades.

Go to Google.com/finance.  Put kwd in the search box.  Select one year 
duration.  Put DOW in the Compare box.  Change the duration to 5 years for a 
different perspective.  Which investment would you rather have been in?

I did not fine the Iraqi dinar traded on a regular currency exchange. 
People were offering paper money.  There is a chance that the old dinars 
might simply be canceled and become worthless except as collectors items.

How about the Nigerian naira?  Type in ngnusd.
