Have you driven a Smart?

I have. It's painfully underpowered and the manner required to shift the 
transmission is downright strange.

Rick Neville has a link to a pic of pretty blue one stuffed into the front of a 
semi. The fact that it had air bags was purely academic.

They are unsure if the driver lived or dies as they are still looking for him.

If the Smart got the same miles per gallon here, as it does in the UK,
buying premium wouldn't be a issue.
