A 12V battery won't run a pump very long through an inverter if you
are doing any significant work.
You may look into a 12V boat pump.  It would be more efficient than an
inverter and battery.  You lose power in the conversion from AC to DC
or vice versa.
You can run the 12V pump from a vehicle and run the vehicle to charge
the battery.

If you have to bail they also make nice hand pumps for bailing boats
that work great.
