[Spridgets] What do YOU think?

A car that runs on compressed air really doesn't
do that much for the
environment except to move
your emissions from one place to another. Instead
of coming ot a tailpipe, it is coming out of the engine
that drives the
compressor that fills the tanks, or if
you use an electric compressor, then
to the smoke
stacks of the electric powerplant. I suppose if you
used
electricity from a TVA dam turbine you could
actually claim to be
emission-free.

It is a neat pass-time for the guy and his son, but I
really
don't think it will end up doing much for
overall fuel consumption.
