[Spridgets] Disappointing news and a 50th question

This autocross is going to be a fun event whether you are driving it
or just watching. It will take place on the Motorplex Track at Road
America (track layout at
http://roadamerica.com/userfiles/image/information_maps/map_motorplex_580w.jpg).
This is their gokart track and is set into the side of a hill, so
visibility is great. We will be running the same course that the
Morgan Club used for the MOTRAH (Morgan, Triumph, Austin-Healey)
Challenge, which uses arrows to tell you which way to turn rather than
cones. This not only minimizes course workers, but also makes it more
of a solo road race. Only one car will be on the course at a time and
there will be a slight delay between cars in order to record the
times, but we have three hours or so to get in as many runs as
possible.

So, if you have a helmet that you can loan out for the autocross event
at the 50th, please bring it along. One extra helmet in the car is not
a big deal, but trying to fit several in a Spridget along with
luggage, tent, etc. gets to be a bit of a challenge, if I even had
several to load. I don't want anyone to miss out on the opportunity to
participate for lack of a helmet.
