Phil,

I use axel straps over the spring just in front of the axel and take the 
right strap to my left tie down on the trailer and left strap to the right 
side.  That holds the car back and keeps the car from sliding sideways. 
Sure wish I was packing up for a trip to Wisconsin.

When towing a quarter elliptic spring car what do I use for a rear tie down
point?  My brake lines run on top of the rear so that's out.
