[Spridgets] Taxes

In Texas we have state and local sales taxes, currently 8% or so, and we 
don't have state income tax.  I don't think a federal flat income tax 
would have any affect on our sales tax.  Now for states with their own 
income tax they would have to decide whether to keep their income tax 
structure, convert to a flat tax or something else.
