[Spridgets] Thinking of Frank--Made in America

Before I bought my 1/2" drive click torque wrench from Craftsman, I looked
at the warranty on the package. It does not come with the lifetime
warranty. I think it is only a year. If you worry about the thing going
out of spec, buy a beam type torque wrench. The click type DOES go out of
spec!

Hand tools with no moving parts have the lifetime warr. When we moved in to
our new office, some worker left a Craftsman version of a visegrip. It was
a mess, with the spring bent and it flopped open when you looked at it
crooked. I took it back to Sears Hardware and they gave me a new one on the
spot.

Years ago, when I had the Type II VW, I was using a Craftsman woodworking
vise to bend the bumper back into shape. I busted it real good! They
replaced it under warranty.

You gotta read the fine print. This is America. We were built on fine
print.
