MIG is by far the easiest.  Oxy/Acetylene is not too hard.  Many times
old wire coat hangers make good rods for fixing old car bodies.
With any welding the key is practice.  I can make good welds by the
end of a project.  When the next project comes around there is a
re-acquaintance period before the welds look their best.  Practice on
scraps of what you will be working on first, then do the actual work.
When doing body panels heat is the enemy.  Heat will warp the panel
around the weld area.
