I suspect the debate on global warming is driven more by denial. If I admit to
global warming then I have to make life style changes. By ignoring the volume
of hard data, including the hard to miss melting of the ice caps, people feel
comfortable using more energy per capita and spewing  out more greenhouse
gases than any other country.

So a large majority of very respected and knowledgeable scientists in the
field of climatology are not credible, but very respected and knowledgeable
people in the auto industry are?  Really?  Gee, politics didn't have
anything to do with that did it?

Seriously people... A lot of very respected and knowledgeable people in the
auto industry are beginning to discover problems in older vehicles due to
ethanol fuel mixes. The fact that you haven't seen problems yet is purely
anecdotal. The science is sound.  This is NOT the global warming hysteria.
