Michael,
I use an engine crane.  Plenty of lifting capacity for picking up a Spridget
body.  For MGBs, I just lift one end at a time.

My $50 engine stands have shipped to my local Wally World.  I still have not
figured out how to get the tub up on them.  I guess the easiest way is four
teenagers.
