[Spridgets] Porsche baulk rings?

I saw something the other day that i think that i've seen before, someone was
talking about having Porsche baulk rings put into their smoothcase gearbox-
Does anyone know anything about this? It seems weird to me that the Porsche
would run the same diameters as the Austin.
