Bob,
This is great to hear as your little Sprite will be happy to get running
again. If you have to replace the battery think about an Interstate battery
as mine is from 2006 when I have the Sprite delivered from LosAngeles and I
do NOT use a battery tender and some winters I didn't disconnect the
battery for the winter and she starts every time. I have installed a quick
disconnect about 3 years ago and I now disconnect for winter then I throw a
slow charge on it over night. I recent ally heard that Sears was purchased
by some businessman who has dropped the quality of the Sears DieHard
batteries so I only get the Interstate after seeing this one work through
my abuse. I'm now looking into an Interstate battery for my motorcycle as I
rarely use it and the battery is always useless even if I bring it into the
house. Yes yes shame on me for not using my battery tender but I just feel
uncomfortable leaving any power on when I'm not around.

Keep us posted on your progress Bob,
Lin
