[Spridgets] Sprite bonnet badge V Sprite grille badge

Hi List,
 
A long story with a happy ending.
 
On the MG Cars bulletin board someone was after a grill plinth for the  
Sprite grille badge, which is a really rare part.  I said that if someone  made 
one in plastic and it weighed less than my metal one I'd sell them my metal 
 one.  Turns out well but small and specialist known UK parts manufacturer  
is making the grille plinth in plastic on a 3-d printer and listing them on 
 e-bay.  So, while not particularly cheap I bought a new plastic grille  
plinth complete with a new badge and made a small weight saving as well.

less faded one than I have now.  Since the badge is NLA I wondered if  anyone 
has ever fitted the Frogeye bonnet badge to the Sprite grille  plinth?  Or 
maybe someone can just advise the diameter?  The Sprite  grille plinth badge 
has a diameter of two and a quarter inches.
