The longest Mini (works designed one) ?At 4,253 (168.3 in.) long, 1,800mm (70.9 in.) wide and 1,441mm (56.7 in.) tall, with a 2,670mm (105.1 in.) wheelbase, the new Clubman is 270mm longer (10.6 in.) and 73mm (2.9 in.) wider than the car it replaces. It's also 270mm (10.6 in.) longer, 90mm (3.5 in.) wider and with a 100mm (3.9 in.) longer wheelbase than the new 5 door MINI hatch. Next year it should have a potential of a 4WD option using a Haldex coupling to include the rear wheels.  Being owned by BMW few see them as a British car any more and the new Mini will probably be using the engine from the BMW 225 series.
