Exactly!  The Sprite monocoque was assembled at John Thompson Motor
Pressings in Wolverhampton and the tub was trucked to Pressed Steel Co. in
Swindon where the exterior panels were manufactured and welded on.  Then
the cars were trucked to Abingdon for finishing.   Pressed Steel Co. is now
"MINI Plant Swindon" which presses the panels for todays Mini.:
