Actually it's some of both.

A long while back, Peter the Parts Pimp had rebuilt A-arms with zirk fittings on the backsides. Check with him to see if he still handles them.

When I restored my Bugeye back in 2000, I removed the threaded pins from the wishbones in the front suspension and just installed a new pin.  There was some wear in the threads in the wishbone at that time, but it had been 17 years since then.  I want to replace the wishbones and pins the same time I install new bushings.  I remember from quite aways back how it was discussed on the list about installing another grease fitting to the blank plug end of the threaded socket in the wishbone.  Does anyone have the particulars or can point to a web site that talks about this?Mike MacLean

Kent1960 Bugeye1983 Garage full of spridget parts!2010 Arrow shed full of excess spridget parts!!! My 74 midget has low beams and when I pull the stalk back I get high beams but when I push the stalk forward I lose all lights. Is this a contact issue or is it the stalk? Can someone give me a starting point to fix this?

Prolly the contacts in the stalk. Helpful?? Maybe, Sarcastic?? You betcha!!

You can try taking the stalk apart, but they are pretty fragile, likely a new one is in the cards for you.

Hello all,

I am about to install a new tonneau cover on my Bugeye.  It’s a Robbins piece and they provided a bunch of Tenax fasteners (Made in England) but my tonneau has Lift the dot fasteners (Made in USA)  Which would be correct?  I know, it doesn’t matter for function but as long as there is an option there is an option for doing it incorrectly.

Input appreciated,

Lester
