[Spridgets] Air Compressor question

Oh Great and Wise Spridgets List,


I appeal to your all knowing knowledge base. [😊]


Good friend has an old Westinghouse Airbrake 2YC air compressor that has developed a leak

and he would like to rebuild the pistons and head in it.

He has found a rebuild/tuneup kit for it, but has not been able to find a manual or instructions

on how to do it.

Any one have experience on doing this kind of thing?

He is a pretty good mechanic. He has restored quite a few Bs and 2 TDs.


Any help/guidance appreciated. Thanks!
