Hope you enjoy them (and review them). The latest edition of the
Sprite/Midget book appears not to have been reviewed by anyone who has read
the revised section on Panhard rods - you won't find stuff like that in any
other book, or the data and photos of my time in the full scale wind tunnel
(time really is money). One story missing from 'short stories' is how I got
a speeding ticket on the way to the Sprite meet in 2008 (?) but since I
neglected to tell my wife that remains un-written and unpublished. How I
got and lost and scared in downtown Philly from the same trip is also
missing..

The fiction story 'A rich girl' has at least 4 true stories/part stories
presented as fiction - see if you can spot them.

I've just had a replacement CV 3 into 1 manifold made for my Sprite since
the last steel one rusted much quicker than the one before that. This time
I had it made in Stainless Steel and it was eye wateringly expensive but
should outlast myself, or at least my driving days (I figure 30/20 of each
minimum). Tomorrow or maybe the day after I want to undertake a test fit
before I get it coated with a thermal barrier but I might have to wait a
month depending on the cost (Santa has a lot to answer for...). After that
I will probably try and replace the RC40 with one in stainless. It seems
I'll also have to buy a 1.75" knock out punch to make a copy of my
favourite exhaust bracket, also in stainless. My rebuilt brake calipers
should get dropped by any time now and yep, you guessed it, I've had
stainless pistons fitted to them.

It only remains to say for you all to have a great new year and drive your
Sprites like you stole them, often.

Regards

Daniel
