Jim, if you can't fine one, you can make one.  When  I flipped my spare over for a little storage space, I made a hold down with a bolt and "handle" and large washer.  I think its 3/8 X 24.

Hi Jim,

I think I put a bunch of information on these spare wheel clamps in the last revision of my book and if anyone can find an omitted size let me know.  There are clamps for steel wheel spares and wire wheel spares for the Sprite/Midget and the same for the MGB (4 clamps at least then).  However, if you have a non-standard width spare wheel or tyre or both, then you can find the correct clamp is too short.
