Sorry Chuck, but I don't have any photos of the header on an engine.  But the header part is pretty standard header configuration and the downpipe went through the triangular opening just like yours does.  The system was commercially available and I have a catalog listing it somewhere around here.  I'll look for it and send you the catalog info as soon as I locate it.
