I seem to remember there were some short videos too. If anyone has any please post a link. I have had my Sprite for 20 years now. That was a recommendation from Frank when I almost bought one of his Spridgets via his craigslist ad but it had already sold. I had emailed him for a tip when his reply was that it was sold and he said stay away from buying another Spitfire and check eBay for a Sprite or MG Midget as they were the best LBC's. I found my little Deep Pink Sprite in Los Angeles a few weeks later and the rest is history. Great OSHIT people from all around the world. I'm grateful to have met the best and this list preserves all of their skills and tons of humor too! The first true OSHIT and when I came up with the name was at Amy P?s in Latrobe PA. Frank, Kevin, Allen, Chuck C and I went there to turn her Sprite from a non-runner to a runner, in 3 days (if I missed anyone, oops, sorry). I think that was in 1998 or so. Chuck got a tattoo and a face full of exhaust for his troubles. Amy got a running Sprite and a serious bathtub ring. The rest of us got farts from the Rolling Rock that was readily available. And plenty of Pizza was served. I missed the Cluster, as it sounded like a lot of fun. Maybe the furthest from the roots of OSHIT, possibly one of the largest, but certainly not the first. Many of those that have contributed and participated in OSHIT activities over the years are gone, but certainly not forgotten. The fact that we're still talking (O)SHIT, ?, tests to the social value of such endeavors. Like I said so many years ago at a certain Mass we three attended, what a diverse group we were. Brought together by a common interest and the desire to do good for another. Hate to go here but here goes...wouldn't it be nice if all people did that all the time. One world, one people. Sorry, getting frustrated with the human condition. Sun is shining, temp warm, I'm taking the Sprite for a romp! It wasn't a show top, but it was in decent shape with good glass and rubber. The only picture I have of it is an after picture below.
