[Thicko] tale of a Turner

Brother Don works with a guy that bought a '58 Turner last year. It's an
ex-race car, and he bought it for his wife as a street car. This car had its
doors bolted shut, no full windscreen, no top, etc. Not a particularly good
choice for a wife's street car. The guy had no previous Turner experience,
etc.

 

Don's been trying to help the guy out,  turning him on to various parts
sources, etc.

 

He talks about maybe putting it up for sale, but without getting back to
Don, puts it up for sale on Craigslist without telling him. Thing sells in a
day for like $8500. Next day, Norb Bries has it for sale at $18 grand.
