[The-Local] OK, I signed up. Now what?

Mark suggested we sign up for “the local”.  

 

He said it was a site for stuff which didn’t exactly fit into any other forum, but I still need an idea of what y’all talk about.

 

Given there are millions of us (ok, maybe a dozen on this list) stuck at home during a pandemic, there must be a topic which interests us.

 

Want me to tell you about the time I was doing house calls in Belfast (in the days when doctors did house calls) and the IRA “borrowed” my car to go shoot someone?  Or the wake which started  before the guy was even declared dead?  Or the wife who called in “my husband is having severe chest pain, but I am not going to call an ambulance.  In fact, take your time coming – he has been a miserable SOB for years……….”  😊

 

Just tryin’ to get something started…..
