I think for sure a cut, any that I have seen with 48IDA's have it cut and this is essentially an EFI 48IDA setup. It is a pretty common setup I think ;-)

Looks just like my engine, except for the intake, heads, block, injection, and
probably the entire rotating assembly.  Other than that, just like mine...
