[Tigers] was Licence Plate covers, now traffic law abuse (Off Topic)

Up on my soapbox... I'm the first to admit that I drive on the more
agressive (not reckless) end of the spectrum, but I also drive at the
extreme of driver attentiveness, have a ton of experience on track
driving at high speeds, at the cars limits, and I'm equally agressive
about risk avoidance and proper caution, consistent with conditions.

Poorly timed traffic lights with camera enforcement are one of the more
offensive revenue generators being supported in the name of safety.
Generally, stop light cameras do not improve accident rates, properly
engineered intersections with optimal light timing does. Sadly, once
there's a camera in place, it is not financially advisable to optimize
light timing to minimize offenses (and thus potential accidents). The
concept of stop light cameras is merely an easy thing to sell
politically and financially.

Now... back off my soapbox and watching the snow fall, knowing the
Tiger is now stuck in the garage for 4 or 5 months. :(
