Just removed the speedo cable from the stock trans on my '67 MKII to my surprise no fluid came out of the opening in the tail housing. Is this the normal condition. The car had been sitting for a couple of days. Does the fluid drain down and is the speedo gear splash lubricated. Just wanted to know before I get it all back together?? Thanks
