[Tigers] Sunvisors Missing in Action

I'm pretty sure they were optional on the Tiger ... I've recently read that
they were standard on the Alpine GT's though...
I was missing both the visors and outer brackets... got new visors AND
polished stainless brackets from S.S. ... not a cheap deal, but the quality
of both is outstanding!!

This may be a naive question, but at least I am consistent!

Why is it that fewTigers are seen with sun visors mounted? Not part of the 
car as supplied new? In the way of the soft top?
Block the view?

My car does not have them, and it has been a problem occasionally driving 
into the sun. So I was contemplating a new set from Sunbeam Specialties.

Any good reason for their relative scarcity?
