The RV and sailing communities build refrigerator space wherever they 
can find it. I consists of aluminum backed insulation plus a white 
plastic covering. I used the insulation only and it seems to work very 
well. Remember, the aluminum reflector goes towards the heat source - 
down - and you will get better results. Seems to me that Larry Paulick 
also used an unusual product for both heat and noise insulation that 
worked very well. It may be worth while to ask him as well.
