[Tigers] Ballast resistor

You don't need the ballast resistor with the Pertronix unit.  Pertronix 
recommends that the resistor be bypassed.

Going to be installing the Pertronix solid state ignition.

Is the ballast resistor necessary with the Pertronix ?  The kit is at  the
shop, so I can't look at the instructions.
