[Tigers] Engine ID

I would seriously question their motives if they will not let you verify the
engine.

It is only one nut and two bolt for goodness sake. I can R&R my starter in
five minutes while on my back. On a lift I bet I could do it in half of
that.

What do you do if they wont let you pull the starter?? Kinda like opening
the hood and looking at the engine. How do you know what it
is(260,289,302)???

Yes,

There is a casting number on the block just above the starter. Remove the
starter and it can be easily seen. Then do a google search for Ford engine
numbers and you will know.

Is there a way to tell if a small block Ford is a 260, 289 or a 302?
