[Tigers] high temp guage readings

Hello
 
Bill Waite tells of his high temp readings. Just got my car back (again)  
from shop concerning high temp and overheating issues and their readings with a  
laser thermometer are the same as Bill's
I have a Mk 1A with an F4B manifold.
 
Anybody got any ideas?
