 I would agree. On the other hand it is the reason I was able to afford a 
Tiger in the first place. So, I guess it goes both ways.  I think cars like 
the Jensen Interceptor kind of fit the same mold. They were the cars  you 
bought if you couldn't afford a.... fill in the blank (___________).
 It still doesn't explain the commonplace "Detroit iron" selling for what it 
does, but I think in part explains the undervalued Tiger.
