Pertaining to the Mark 2 currently on eBay, it's not orchid green, it's a yellow of some undetermined origin (not Rootes). You can find a picture of the orchid green color in the very first edition of the Tiger-The Making of a Sports Car book or in the January 1996 issue of Thoroughbred & Classic Cars.
