It's a 5/16 inch compression fitting. I cut the 5/16" pipe off about 3 inches away from the compression fitting, then soldered the stub to a piece of 3/8" line that I ran into the spare tire well, where it plumbs into a can-style fuel filter (with another compression fitting) and from there to a pump.
