	You are correct; that engine does seem too early for your Tiger.
Your casting date and build date are May 1964; I would have expected 1965.
This is not an impossible combination due to the way the engines were
shipped, stacked, stored and moved to final line.

What is the engine number for this Tiger?
Do you have the small aluminum engine tag for this engine?
Any Ford casting numbers and date code help determine exactly what engine
configuration you have.
