Built a Kirkham aluminum Cobra a few years ago (and I won't touch the Shelby angle there . . .) with a 427 side oiler. That car has limited space for an effective clutch arm, so it took a while to give up and go with hydraulic t/o bearing, but the clutch is great, and seems to take everything that we can throw at it.
