Thanks for the info Theo.

Looks like I am going to have Auto Zone get me a 2859.  I really do not
think I have the extra 1/2" to play with.  I have also put 1/8" spacers
under the engine mounts for the 15" Derale fan to rack clearance.

I will get AZ points and not have to pay shipping.

Would you be interested in the K&N size? I put in a K&N E-3710. Height
2", ID 11.75, OD 13.5". It fits (having reshaped the circle to an oval)
perfectly.
The E-2859 (listed as the Tiger filter) has the same ID and OD, but is
1.5" tall.

The FRAM CA3371 is listed as 1.88 high, 11.31 ID, 13.55 OD... That MIGHT
fit. The application for this one is '75-76 Mustang V8 2 bbl.
