I tow my cars (and tractor) with an F-250 V10 gas. I wouldn't do it
with anything less. You will be very sorry if you buy something
marginal......

I've towed my Tiger with a 4.0L Ranger V6, a Ford F-150 with a 5.4L V8 and an '04 Ford F-250 Powerstroke Diesel. THERE IS NO COMPARISON...THE DIESEL WILL PULL A HOUSE DOWN IF NECESSARY!!!! My wife and I just got back from SUNI today and, other than catching a rock in the windshield on my F-250, we had an uneventful trip. I can't even imagine trying that in my old F-150 and there's no way in hell I'd EVER try that with a V6 Ranger.
