[Tigers] Mailing List Still Active

There are probably still some old timers, and mid-timers lurking about.

I joined in about January 1996 and traffic was busy then. I sold my Tiger in
2005, but still continued to subscribe, thinking that I wanted to put a Tiger
vintage racer together some day. From time to time I still see some of the old
names like Tony Somebody, Tim Ronak, Mayf, and Theo on here, but I agree that
the later Sunbeam forums have probably led to the decline in traffic here. The
subject of death was brought up, and unfortunately that has claimed a few.

I have a Pantera now and conversely, the Pantera list is still very active,
even with the competition from glitzier forums.

It'll be a sad day when and if this list does finally die. During my tenure as
a Tiger owner, this was "the" place for advice and information. So many people
on here helped me during my rebuild and restoration, and I probably would have
made a lot more mistakes on my car if I hadn't had access to this resource.

I'll be lurking here 'til the lights go out.
