[Tigers] Question about rims

While there are products you can buy, it easy to make a devise to check 
fitment. 20 minutes time with woodscrapes (assuming one has them) gets it 
done.  Basically  they consist of two pieces of wood at right angles with 
each other.

 Cut a sheet of plywood to the diameter of the tire and drill the holes for 
mounting.  Then with an L bracket fix a 1X3 at a right angle for tread width 
and backspacing simulation. Wood can also be added to simulate clearance for 
calipers, and on a Tiger more importantly - steering arms. But, with 15" 
wheels you probably won't have a problem.

 Once bolted on you rotate checking for clearance. Check also at  full 
left/right lock and lastly make sure you do it with the car lifted at the 
A-arm. A drooped suspension will obviously give false readings.  Wheel/tire 
combinations get expensive and disappointing they don't fit right and the 
time spent would be well worth it.
