Glass polishing is labor intensive. If you have a lot of time on your hands
go for it. Most polishing systems use cerium oxide and polishing pads to
polish glass. What it does is remove glass to the lowest level of the
scratch. The magic word here is remove. To over state what glass polishing is
think of a piece of wood with a 1/8 inch gouge in it . to remove it would
require you to sand the gouge away leaving a 1/8 inch divot in the wood. Glass
polishing is a way to get people to spend money on a hope that it will
work. If you remove glass from a window you will never get optically correct
glass because you have to REMOVE GLASS to remove the scratch. Go to a local
glass shop an have them make you new ones . HTH
