Hi Bill

The VIN plates are definitely Mk2, but there is a hole on the rear deck
where the battery for the Alpine is and the fuel pump for the Mk 1 & 1A that
is covered by a hinged flap. This deck on the Mk2 has no hole at all in the
pressing from the factory.
