[Tigers] Speedo gears & calibration

Waiting for a new speedo cable from SS. Googled Sunbeam speedometer and found
great wisdom at Tigers United. Seems there were several calibrations for our
units. My original has the stock, for Mk 1A's and is 980 rpm/ mile. I checked
my spares and found one rebuilt by MOMO has a calibration number of 1020,
while a third, from eBay, has the original 980. I have a 15 tooth original
gear. Also found, in my spares (unremembered source after 35 years of Tigers)
a new 16 tooth gear. Third, SS offers a 17 tooth gear that was for Mk II's.
Any advice on which would be more accurate?  My speedo reads fast so I need
something taller.
