[Tigers] B19KC engine series

                I always expect surprises when dealing with these numbers and errors happen; I make them all the time.

Now it would be very interesting if there is a 5564-B19KC engine out there; that would mean the someone at Ford changed the Group # but did not index the sequence number.

 

Anyone know where B382000633 is and can check the engine # for that Tiger?

Anyone know if 5564-B19KC exists or should we be looking for 5565-B19KC?

 

Always more questions than answers.

According to the Jensen journals, 5564 is the lowest engine number assigned to B19KC (B382000633 on 10/8/65).

I do not have a VIN photo, so it is possible that the Journal has an erroneous entry.

That said, the engine numbers within the B19KC series are sequential going forward from 5564.

 

The engine number 5564 is duplicated on B382000715 on 10/21/65, and also happens to be the largest number for the F21KA series. 

Again, the engine series is consecutive up to and including 5564.

Looks like someone messed up on the transition.
