Michael & Jim, thanks for the info. and the help. My Tiger didn’t have a top or a frame for that matter when I got it. The frame that I have is for a MKI with the tension cables that I bought on eBay a while back. I’m still on the fence about going original or with an upgraded material such as the canvass type. Mine is ‘personalized’ so, not a concours restoration. I’ll also check with Rick at SS. Robbins was my first choice before I read about the issues pointed out regarding the tonneau cover. I had thought of converting the cable system to a velcro type. Lot’s to think about.

Jim

The originals had the damn along the front as mentioned and also had the large silver metal zippers (the name escapes me for now ) not black plastic. they also had a grey inside finish (per the original soft tops) and they had a strap to secure the tonneau to the centre console while driving.

The relief for the post by the side vent window was short on the drivers side by between .75' and 1 inch. This caused an unavoidable wrinkle between the steering wheel and the windshield
