[Tigers] Tigers Digest, Vol 13, Issue 101

I made the mistake of tightening suspension pieces on the lift after installation and had the same height problem both front and rear.

I then loosened all suspension bolts and let the car sit on all 4 wheels for a few days also pushing down occasionally. Backed in and out of the garage a few times.

Things settled into the correct ride height after that. Tightened all suspension bolts and was good to go.

Good luck.

During the winter months I had the rear springs rearced  it raised the Tigef about 3inches and installed some new KGB shocks in rear. Went for a very short ride because of time restrictions and found the car mushy in front, It felt so  different I would describe it as loose in front, better check the shocks in front also, they are only Aaaa 25 years old. Could be 35.  But really any other ideas. Beau
Raising the rear of a Tiger 3" is significant! It likely shifted significant weight on the front wheels. And if that was the case the static alignment is now based on the changes that weight made. Whenever something changes..., go back and look at the changes made even if elsewhere. I swapped an EAO 2.0 for a Lima 2.3 with turbo in my Pinto and the weight difference produced similar results. But in my case I was expecting a difference.  Why 3" in the rear?

I’ll be willing to bet your A-arm bushings are shot. I used the Super Pro urethane bushings on my last rebuild and it really tightened up the front end.

Had the same thing happen on my Alpine.  It was like the rubber in the bushing just disappeared!
I will warn though that if you have the same thing, and the A arm is shifting around in there, it might make the Ackermann angle issue worse, and make it that much more likely that you can break your A arm mounts - especially going backwards.  Or heck, maybe it makes it better!  But either way, I'd be super careful.
