Tim,
I would start with looking at the battery cables. I had a similar problem
(but in the fall, temps in the 50s) and the ground cable from the battery
was bad/corroded. Get a multimeter, set it on "continuity" and check for
ground continuity, then check for voltage from the positive terminal to
ground.
