[Tigers] Conundrum!

The stock Tiger engine and fuel system is an open system; which means it can vent fuel vapors.
I had a smelly garage recently but I think it was mostly from the several days of 90 degree heat. I also had a mechanical connection that was very slowly weeping some fuel; I only saw a fuel stain
Unfortunately, Tigers have many connection points and every one of them needs to be carefully examined.
Mechanical connections for any signs of weeping fuel stain
Rubber connections for cracked rubber – rubber hoses sometimes need to be removed to see if they are internally cracked
Steel tubing connections need to be checked for weeping fuel
Steel tubing should have a bubble flare at any rubber hose connection
Rubber hose clamps could be loose or not working correctly as in not enough clamping force
Steel tubing should be captured at various points along the body – vibrations can cause a stress fracture in the tube, you should see a fuel stain at the fracture point
Hope this helps and good luck

At some point I replaced the crossover vapor hose, partially because I found that the PO had drilled a hole in it while installing the lift-the-dot studs.
There must still be another source of leakage because that fix did not completely fix the smell in the trunk. This winter I hope to get in there and change the sender gasket.

Tigers,
I went out into the garage the other day. The smell of gasoline was overpowering!
I emptied the three cars and let the garage clear. I put the Tiger back in the garage first and closed the garage doors. Twenty minutes later the smell of gas was evident.
There are no leaks, puddles, etc. I checked everything. I started the car and let it warm up - nothing seems to be wrong!
Ideas would be appreciated.
