As you may recall, there seemed to be some delays in the response of the
mailman web interface to your subscribe commands a while back.  It may be
worse than I thought:

For those of you who don't grok Unix, suffice it to say that I think a
few hundred dollars of Team.Net donations spent on a new hard disk may
have just kissed the turf.
